Administration
The special ability that God gives to organize the information, events, people or material to accomplish a project or fulfill a purpose. Focus is on the big picture and teamwork. Able to delegate as needed. Scripture references: Acts 6:1-7; Romans 12:8; I Corinthians 12:28

Artistry
The special ability that God gives to create artistic expressions that produce a spiritual response of strength and inspiration. These expressions include visual as well as performance art and working with a variety of materials. Scripture references: Exodus 31:1-11, Psalm 149:3a

Craftsmanship
The special ability that God gives to create, build, maintain, or repair items. Scripture reference: Exodus 28.

Discernment
The special ability to know with assurance whether a certain behavior or teaching is from God; to clearly distinguish between truth and error, good and evil. A Christian with this gift is able to see through to the core of a situation and generate solutions. Scripture references: 1 Corinthians 2:9-16; 1 Corinthians 12:10; Acts 8:9-24

Discipleship
The special ability that God gives to witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ by leading and inspiring others to follow Christ. By sharing Scripture and Church teachings, the Christian with this gift helps others to grow in their spirituality. Scripture references: Acts 2:36-40; Acts 8:26-40; Ephesians 4:11-16

Faith
The special ability to trust in God and God’s Word; perceive and  follow the Holy Spirit’s leading. Individuals with this gift possess extraordinary confidence in God’s promises, power and presence even in the most adverse circumstances. Scripture references: Genesis 12:1-4; Matthew 8:5-16; Mark 5:25-34; 1 Corinthians 12:9; 1 Thessalonians 1:7-10; 1 Thessalonians 7:8; Hebrews 11

Giving
The special ability that God gives which enables Christians to respond to God’s blessings by sharing their material blessings with exceptional willingness, cheerfulness, and generosity. Scripture references: Luke 21:1-4; Romans 12:3-8; 2 Corinthians 8; 9:6-15

Healing
The special ability, given by God, to be used by God to bring  about a person’s healing – physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. People with the true gift of healing are generally good listeners. Scripture references: Luke 9:1-2; Acts 28:7-9; 1 Corinthians 12:7-9; James 5:13-16.

Hospitality
The special ability to warmly welcome people, even strangers, as a means of serving those in need of food, lodging or belonging. Scripture references: Genesis 18:1-8; Luke 10:38; Acts 16:11-15; Romans 12:13; 1 Peter 4:9-10; Hebrews 13:2

Intercession
The special ability that God gives to consistently pray on behalf of and for others with the certainty that prayers are heard and answered according to what God knows is best for us. Scripture references: Luke 11:1-10; 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Knowledge
The special ability that God gives to learn, understand, analyze and uncover new insights with regard to Church teaching, Scripture and faith and then apply these insights to specific situations in the everyday life. Scripture reference: 1 Corinthians 12:7-8

Leadership
The special ability that God gives to motivate, coordinate and direct others, with care and diligence, to get involved in the accomplishment of community goals and objectives. Scripture references: Exodus 18:13-26; Luke 22:24-27; John 21:15-17; 2 Timothy 4:1-5

Mercy
The special ability that God gives to feel deeply for those in physical, spiritual or emotional need and act to meet those needs. Scripture references: Matthew 25:34-36; Luke 10:30-37; 1 Corinthians 12: 6,8; 3 John 5-8

Missionary
The special ability that God gives to cross geographic, cultural, or economic barriers to bear witness to Christ’s teachings through word and actions. Individuals with this gift find joy in working with minorities, people of other countries, or those with other distinct cultural differences. Music
The special ability that God gives to express personal faith and provide inspiration or comfort through the playing of a musical instrument, singing, or dancing. Scripture references: Psalms 33:1-5; 96:1-9; 100:1-2; 149:1-3; 150; 1 Corinthians 14:26

Pastoral Leadership
The special confidence, motivation, ability and compassion that God gives to provide spiritual leadership and direction for individuals or groups of Christians. Scripture references: Ephesians 4:7-11; 1Timothy 3:1-13; 4:12-16; 1 Peter 5:1-4

Service
Often called the gift of helps, this is the special ability that God gives to see what needs to be done and do it. People with this gift like to work behind the scenes and don’t shy away from even the most menial tasks. They enjoy helping others and meeting needs. Teaching
The special ability to clearly explain the truths of the Church, Scripture and faith so that others might know, and have a relationship with, God. Scripture references: Acts 18:24-28; Romans 12:7; 1 Corinthians 12:28; Colossians 3:16

Wisdom
The special ability that God gives to use knowledge in a practical way. Christians with this gift can sort through diverse sets of information to determine the best solution for the individual or community in daily life. Scripture references: 1 Corinthians 2:6-13; 12:7-8; James 3:13-18

Writing
The special ability that God gives to express, in written form, one’s faith along with Church teachings and Scripture so as to edify, instruct and strengthen the community. Scripture references: 1 John 2:1-17; 1 Timothy 3:14-16
